The Legislature of the Commonwealth consequently made generous provisions for a new building. Work was begun in November, 1893, and the building was first occupied by the school Dec. 2, 1896. The Site, building and equipment represent an expenditure of and it is believed that the Commonwealth here pos sesses a structure as complete and convenient as any of its kind in this country.
