I was dismayed by the idea that a reader might finish the book and think they knew a lot of stuff about a lot of things and therefore did not have to do any more reading. Starts a little slow, but once I got started I couldn't stop. All four of the girls, as well as their parents and the other characters in the book, felt like real people. Author Walt Thurn shows you how to upgrade your Corvette's engine, from basic bolt-ons to serious engine modifications. Being an avid follower of the series I am disappointed to see it end. Not much text but enough to explain the pictures. Comics don't hold up well on the Kindle, in my opinion, and the two presented here weren't all that great. This not only led to the loss of structure in Paula’s life but also the constant presence of one of her parents.
