Clearly, death is a difficult subject for most people. Great characters, great plot. The first title in the series presents Venezuelan architect Carlos Raul Villanueva, one of the great modernists of the twentieth century. If you are a fan of "Dog", you already knew most of what was in the book, and could speed read through 90% of it. What our military put these young men through is hard for any common person to comprehend. I can relate to much of what I read in the book and now a lot of problems I ran into, that I thought I was causing, make sense. Here is, yet again, another foray into mind-bending possibilities. I think this book has topped the first book. So I sat down near her and started to read it out loud. That is because this version is missing the first several pages. The story line is simple and easily accessible to younger children, who will learn that exploring the personal feelings around social issues is a first step in dealing with them.
